• Having formed a formidable 360 Sprintcar partnership in Australia over several seasons, American Travis Rilat and Australian based car-owner Phil Seymour will again join forces with some extra horses under the hood as they set about chasing success during the 2018 South West Conveyancing Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic.

Rilat who last attended the Classic back in 2014, has dominated the Annual 360 Sprintcar All-Stars Tyson Perez Memorial, recording a hat-trick of wins from 2014 to 2016 in the race that honors his great mate, who passed following an accident that also saw Rilat suffer significant injury.

In 2017 Rilat competed in just 26 races as inclement weather and an increasing work portfolio kept him busy. In those 26 races, the diminutive Texan was able to extend an amazing record that has seen him win at least one feature for the past 23 years

Of his three 2017 victories, the highlight was no-doubt winning a round of the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour at Cocopah Speedway in Somerton, Arizona, his first National Series wins since 2013.

All told, the 2017 saw Rilat record three wins as well as eight top-five finishes and another 15 top ten results.

Upon arriving in Australia, Phil Seymour will have everything ready to roll aboard the Mopar powered Triple X, with support coming from Lumley Special Vehicles, A-Plus Powder Coating and Proctor Accounting.

Having made the 40-lap Classic finale last January, South Australian Brad Keller will be back with bigger and better plans in store for the South West Conveyancing Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic.

Having added the extra dynamic of James Rosenberg to his already powerful team, Keller, will join the World Series Sprintcars travelling troupe, which will ensure he is at the top of his game come the Classic.

With genuine car speed, and with Keller at the top of his game the distinctive S19 entry will again give their supporters including Shadetec, JRR, Daniel Trucking and Bunyip Print plenty to be excited about as the Maxwill powered Maxim does its thing on Classic weekend.

Another of the local Warrnambool based hard chargers is also now nominated for the Classic with Corey McCullagh again set to wheel out his immaculately presented KRE powered Maxim on Classic weekend.

McCullagh, who was a dominant force in Go-Karting circles prior to embarking on his Sprintcar career, missed a transfer to the Classic A-Main by just one spot in 2017, no doubt further fuelling his desire to be a part of the 40-lap final this coming January.

With strong results in the opening two rounds of the Parr Motorsports Premier Speedway Track Premiership, McCullagh will bring plenty of confidence to the Classic as he searches for yet another career best result for his sponsors Warrnambool RV and caravan Centre, Owen Built Homes, Owen Truss, Westvic Sheds and Garages, Warrnambool 24/7 Gym and South West Conveyancing.

The 2018 46th edition of the Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic will be supported by the following sponsors; Performance Racegear, KRE Race Engines, The Lady Bay Resort and KFC.

Copies of the 2018 Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic entry form have been forwarded to the 2017 entrants while a PDF version is available for download from the Premier Speedway website www.premierspeedway.com.au
