  • Kaiden Manders and the J&S Drilling #60 car have finished fourth at the Perth Motorplex last Saturday evening.
    A field of 24 cars ran against the clock in the Time Trial with Manders being the 10th fastest - just a tick over half a second behind the fastest competitor.
    He started from position 6 in his first 8-lap heat race, dropped back a spot and then moved up to cross the line fifth.
    In his next outing Manders came out of position 7 and finished fourth.
    This meant he started the 30-lap A Main from position 12.
    Manders was quickly on the move, getting up to 7th after only a handful of laps had been completed.
    Around lap 11 he had climbed to 4th spot.
    He moved up to third in the latter stages of the race, only to be passed by the current AHG Sprintcar Series Champion after a restart.
    At the flag the talented youngster was fourth.
    This weekend sees Manders and the J&S Drilling Team head off to the country to contest two rounds of the World Series Sprintcars competition - at Albany on Friday and Bunbury the following evening.
    The next week will see the team back at the Perth Motorplex for the final rounds of the WSS Championship.
