• Twenty seven year old Kyle Fisher from Queensland, will compete in his second National Title this Friday and Saturday night at Valvoline Raceway, when he competes in the National Super Sedan Title.

Fishers first title, two seasons ago, saw the Roma based driver start in the middle of the B Main, with his race ended by a flat tyre.

I ended up out with a flat left rear and major front end damage after the front row caused a melee on the start. That aside I totally enjoyed the experience of racing against 45 of the best drivers in Australia, Fisher said.

Fisher is not only looking forward to the competition, but also the challenge of racing on a track he has never raced at before.

Our main goal is to qualify for the A Main and to try to stay out of trouble in the process, and after the consistent races we have been having here in Queensland I believe that it is a realistic chance for us, Fisher added.

We have committed to contesting the complete schedule of the Brims Concrete Qld Super Sedan series this season and whilst I have not picked up a podium yet, we have continually improved after each race, and the two recent rounds at Lismore speedway has seen our best results so far, with a 6th and 5th place respectively, Fisher continues.

The three drivers Fisher believes will be hardest to beat will be Matt Pascoe, Darren Kane and Wayne Randall.

Depending on the workload of their family business the team intend to leave on Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning for the thirteen hour drive to Sydney.

Fisher will be in a Rocket chassis leaf spring car built by Danny smith from Lismore NSW, with a Pontiac Grand Prix Body.

My Father Lyall, purchased this car from Wayne Randall in 2011 which Wayne then piloted for four seasons and in that time won a Queensland title at Charlton Raceway before it was high banked, and numerous other podiums and race wins. As of this season I have been given the opportunity to compete in this car.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank my whole family for supporting my racing dream and especially my Mum and Dad for giving me the opportunity and chance to be competitive week in week out against the best. Without the support of my wonderful family I would not be racing that is for sure, Fisher concludes.

Fisher is proudly supported by Roma Windscreens.

The Speedway Sedans Australia, National Super Sedan Title will be held at Valvoline Raceway this Friday and Saturday night.
