Gold Coast racer Lachlan McHugh is the first official nomination for the third annual “Ultimate Pink Night” at the Murray Machining and Sheds Murray Bridge Speedway on December 1, 2018. The night, which supports the National Breast Cancer Foundation and gives ALL Women Free General Admission entry, will double as Round 3 of the Shadetec Ultimate Sprintcar Championship SA and it will be the final Sprintcar hit out at the venue prior to the World Series Sprintcars round on Boxing Day.
With McHugh committing to another tilt as a contracted WSS Driver there is little doubt that he will be using the Ultimate Pink Night event as a launching pad for the Boxing Day event. Although the season is relatively new McHugh has already chalked up three top 5 finishes including a win in the opening round of the Archerfield Track Championship.
McHugh’s early nomination is a great indication that the 2018 edition of the Ultimate Pink is set to be another action-packed evening of Sprintcar racing at Murray Bridge that can’t be missed. Further releases will follow as the nominations are received.
