• The Sprintcar Racing Association of Victoria Parr Motorsports 360 Sprintcar Title is to be conduted at Simpson Speedway this Sunday night, The 360 Title is also round one of the 2019 SRA Indy Race Parts Triple Crown Series and there are some big name drivers in the field. The current SRA State 360 Champion Michael Tancredi, past SRA 360 State champions, Chris Solomon, Jordyn Charge and then four Eureka Garages & Sheds Series Champions, John Vogels, Matthew Reed, Brett Milburn and the current Eureka Series champion Rusty Hickman are just some of the drivers.

After the success of the inaugural SRA Indy Race Parts Triple Crown Series last season Indy Race Parts was happy to be a part of the Triple Crown Series once again and to have the Victorian 360 Sprintcar Title included in round one has pleased many drivers that will see one of the best feilds of Victorian drivers in 360 Sprintcars on hand for a shot at the Parr Motorsports 360 Victorian Sprintcar Title.

Parr Motorsports have had a long association with the Sprintcar Racing Association
Of Victoria in both the Open and 360 sprintcar events, both Adrian and Kim were pleased to be given the opportunity to have Parr Motorsports as the naming sponsor of the SRA 360 State Tile once again.

What a tough field of competitors for this event, John Vogels the winner of the Eureka Series here at Simpson Speedway back in December, being his home track he will be hard to beat. Another of the locals in with a shot at the Title is Phil Lock who is back in form after a chassis change this season.

Tim Van Ginneken took a feature race win in a Eureka Series round at Simpson a couple of seasons back with what was one of the most memorable drives seen at the venue running high on the track, Tim must be a big chance once again.

The current Eureka Garages & Sheds Series Champion Rusty Hickman returns to the 360 sprintcar competition this weekend after his first full season as a contracted driver in the World Series Sprintcar show. Now Rusty has won a 360 sprintcar event at Heartland Raceway so could this be his night to shine once again?

Chris Solomon is a past Victorian 360 Sprintcar Champion and Simpson Speedway was the place where he did that, don’t discount Chris from taking another Title.

Can Michael Tancredi retain his current Victoria 360 Title for a second straight season is the big question, for some reason Michael performs well in this event no matter where it is.

Now let’s not forget Jordyn Charge, Jordyn won the 360 Title a couple of seasons back at Western Speedway Hamilton. last season Jordyn was way out in the lead of the Title event when he caught a lapped car going into turn three on the last lap but with the speed he was carrying Jordyn had to go high on the track only to spin and loose his Title. Jordyn has the ability and the drive to take another 360 Title.

Brett Milburn returns to the 360 class this weekend driving the VA29 car, each time he drives this sprintcar he is on the podium with either a win or a place, Brett also was the overall winner of the Indy Race Parts 360 Triple Crown Series last season, yet another driver that has the goods to do the job for a win.

Where does the talent stop? Both Brayden Parr and Matthew Reed have taken out feature wins this season in the 360 Allstar events, with such a quality field of drivers entered this would have to be one of the toughest fields assembled for a shot at the 2019 Parr Motorsports Victorian 360 Sprintcar Title.

With many more drivers joining the drivers already mentioned round 1 of the 2019 360 Indy Race Parts Triple Crown Series will be a hot night of sprintcar action at Simpson Speedway on Sunday night this long weekend.
