The Management of Premier Speedway would sincerely like to thank all of those that are contacting us with regards to this weekend’s opening race meeting of the 2019-20 season, which features Round 3 of the Eureka Sprintcar Series, Junior Sedans and V8 Dirt Modifieds with thanks to our event partners ACE Radio 3YBFM and Coast FM.

We also appreciate that the various weather reports don’t paint the most glorious of pictures, however, it is worth remembering that, we were faced with a similar scenario on a couple of occasions last season and we were able to complete our program as scheduled.

So, yes it may yet rain, it may not, so while the weather is currently wonderfully fine we will continue to prepare the venue for competitors and spectators alike, anticipating that it will be business as usual.

Should the weather intervene, and our hand be forced, we will make it publicly known as soon as we know of any need to cancel. This will be done via www.premierspeedway.com.au under the News Tab, our Facebook Page and also via our Race Info Line which will have a recorded message attached. This number is (03) 9513 5555 and unless it states we are cancelled then we are good to go and are preparing to race.

Should we need to cancel – we will do so as soon as practical, to limit needless travel for race teams and our supporters.

Again we thank everyone and share your concerns about the weather forecast, but we also look forward to doing everything we can to ensure that, what is a high class field, gets an opportunity to race at Sungold Stadium, Premier Speedway, Warrnambool this coming weekend.

Gates will open on Saturday for the General Public from 4pm with cars on track at 5pm.

General Admission is: Adults $27; Concession $22; Children 10-15 $10 and Children 9 and Under are Free.
