• This Saturday night at Sungold Stadium, Premier Speedway, Warrnambool the Victorian Sprintcar Title and Formula 500 Jack Willsher Cup will go on the line as a part of night two of the 2019-20 season.

With talent laden fields set to duke it out on Saturday night in both divisions, it promises to be a great night of action with the likes of McFadden, Veal, Anderson, Mollenoyux and Co all keen to arrest the Victorian Title Crown from the current Champ David Murcott.

The Formula 500’s always provide exciting racing and with defending Jack Willsher Cup Champion Jack Bell set to lock horns with current Aussie Champ Josh Buckingham along with the likes of Liam Williams, Dylan Willsher and experienced campaigners Tim Rankin and Rob Rankin the action is sure to be red hot.

Danny Carroll will also make a welcome return to the Formula 500 Ranks, having plied his trade on the racing scene in the United States in recent times.

Aside from all of the excitement of this coming weekend’s racing, the 2020 South West Conveyancing Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic continues to loom large with Young, New South Wales’ Jackson Delamont joining Mt. Gambier South Australia’s Glen Sutherland amongst the early season entrants.

Delamont will again pilot the N48 KRE powered Cool Chassis with support from Mad Harry’s Steel, Total Steel Sydney, Tyres Plus in Orange and JD Shock Repair.

In 2019 Jackson finished 13th in the B-Main and will be looking to qualify his way into the coveted 24 car field for the Classic finale on Sunday January 26.

Glen Sutherland missed the 2019 Classic through injury and will return to the Classic as part of a big 2019-20 season that once again will see Sutherland contract to World Series Sprintcars.

A new piece of the puzzle for the likeable South Aussie has been the employment of new Crew Chief Matt Griffiths, who in more recent times has worked for the likes of Keneric racing and Kerry Madsen amongst others.

Griffiths brings a wealth of experience and will no doubt have the Gambier Earth Movers S20 Rider powered Maxim ready to roll come Classic time.

All race fans are reminded that on-line ticket sales for not only the 2020 South West Conveyancing Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic but every meeting of the 2019-20 season at Sungold Stadium commenced on October 21.

The 2020 48th edition of the South West Conveyancing Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic will be supported by the following sponsors; Performance Racegear, KRE Race Engines, GJ Gardner Homes, The Lady Bay Resort and KFC.

Copies of the 2020 Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic entry form have been forwarded to the 2019 entrants while a PDF version is available for download from the Premier Speedway website www.premierspeedway.com.au
