  • Up and coming Sprintcar Star Gio Scelzi has withdrawn from the 2020 South West Conveyancing Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic, with news coming from the US yesterday of a pending new partnership between Scelzi and Guy Forbrook for the upcoming US season curtailing Scelzi’s Australian plans.

    Scelzi was slated to drive for Indy Race Parts proprietor Bernie Stubegen however the new deal has put paid to that being a possibility.

    In other news today it has been announced that World Series Sprintcars contracted driver will park up own previously entered W14 entry, so that he can contest the Classic for John McLellan and the J&S Drilling Team aboard the W60 entry.

    These changes now has the official Classic entry list at 107 with nine hugely talented Americans still set to roll onto Sungold Stadium next weekend for the 48th South West Conveyancing Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic.

    The 2020 South West Conveyancing Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic is supported by KFC, Performance Racegear, The Lady Bay Resort, GJ Gardner Homes and KRE Race Engines and will be held from Friday January 24, 2020 through to Sunday January 26, 2020.

    Tickets for the Classic are currently available via www.premierspeedway.com.au with three and single night ticket options available.

    On-line sales will cease at midnight on Thursday January 23, 2020 with nightly ticket sales available from the Warrnambool side gates from 9am on Friday January 24, 2020.
