• There has been a fair bit of interest since the weekend about the CT525 crate engine.

Our media team referred to it as the little crate engine in tongue and cheek due to the smaller hp and smaller price tag when compared to some of the other engine dollars and hp figures being thrown around the pit paddock.

If a CT525 engine is used in a Super Sedan, the minimum weight limit is only 1000kg, 100kg lighter than using any other V8 engine.
