• With Premier Speedway making its long awaited Return To Racing this Friday, January 1, 2021, the following is a quick guide to some of the more frequently asked questions we have come across!

    Everyone at Premier Speedway would like to wish all of our competitors and race fans alike a safe and happy New Year as we look forward to Friday night being the start of better things ahead.

    Frequently Asked Questions:

    Competitors:

    Q: Do I have to Pre-Purchase a ticket as a competitor?
    A: No. As a competitor you can enter via the Pit Gate as usual.

    Q: Will I have to complete a QR code upon arrival?
    A: Yes. As a competitor you can scan either the Premier Speedway QR Code or the Speedway Australia Pit Indemnity QR Code, which will provide you with a confirmation email to show to Pit Office Staff, to make your entry even more contactless.

    Q: Can I pay for entry with Cash?
    A: No. The entire venue is Cashless, this includes all ticket boxes, canteen and bars.

    Q: What time will pit gates open?
    A: The Pits will Open at 1pm.

    Q: Will I need to wear a mask?
    A: Yes. We are asking everyone in the pits to wear a mask to ensure the safety of all.

    Q: How long after the races are complete can we stay for?
    A: One Hour, everyone is asked to have vacated the premises one hour after the final race of the night is completed. Unfortunately, we cannot have any teams stay overnight with us.

    Q: If I have friends or family in the public seating areas can I visit them between races?
    A: No. As a competitor you must remain in the pit area, there will be no provision to cross over to the public areas.

    General Public:

    Q: Do I have to Pre-Purchase a ticket?
    A: Yes. A strictly limited number of tickets (1000) have ben made available for purchase in the Grandstand and Terrace (fixed seating areas), once these are sold, we will be at our allowed capacity.

    Q: What time will the public gates open?
    A: The public gates will open at 4pm.

    Q: Will I have to complete a QR code upon arrival?
    A: Yes. As a member of the public, you can scan the Premier Speedway QR Code as displayed on your ticket or from one of the signs on-site. This needs to be completed for all members of your family/party.

    Q: Can I pay for entry with Cash?
    A: No. The entire venue is Cashless, this includes all ticket boxes, canteen and bars.

    Q: Will I need to wear a mask?
    A: Yes. You will be required to wear a mask to ensure the safety of all when visiting areas such as the canteen, bar or bathrooms. It is also strongly recommended that masks be worn at all times to ensure the safety of all.

    Q: Can we stay after the races are complete?
    A: No, everyone is asked to leave the venue promptly, the Grandstand will be vacated by the front row first and then the second etc. The terrace will be cleared by section one, then section two etc.

    Q: If I have friends or family in the pit area can I visit them between races?
    A: No. As a member of the general public, you must remain in the public area, there will be no provision to cross over to the pit area.

    Q: Can we camp in the car parks?
    A: No. Unfortunately, we cannot allow this to happen.

    Q: Can I catch up with my mates at the canteen and enjoy a chat as we eat our meal?
    A: No. Unfortunately, we will require everyone, children included, to return to their allocated seat to consume their purchases from the canteen and bar etc.
