• While the 2021-2022 racing season has been delayed once again due to the Covid Virus the Sprintcar Racing Association of Victoria is looking forward in a positive manner to kicking off the 2021-2022 season hopefully in late November or early December subject to Government rulings. This season will see nearly all the major Blue-Ribbon events once again and the return of the Eureka Garages and Sheds Sprintcar Series. Also, a new Series for the budget minded competitors, the C&H Trucking Sprintcars Limited Series that is scheduled to start in the new year.

With the first few events of the season that were to be run in October plus some of the early events in November also having to be cancelled or postponed the SRA is already in discussion with the venue operators for alternative dates. Again this will still come down to the Government restrictions, but the SRA are hopeful of having a better picture within the next couple of weeks. So here’s hoping the season can get underway in late November or early December.

After the uncertainty of last season, the SRA along with our seasons / Series partners and venue operators made the decision to not run the Eureka Garages and Shed Series due to the Covid issue but the good news is the Series is back this season with Eureka Garages & Sheds heading into their nineteenth season as the naming rights sponsor. Thanks to Domenic Sabatino and his Team the SRA is not only pleased to continue the great partnership with Eureka Garages & Sheds but the SRA can confirm nearly all the 2019-2020 Series partners are back with only a few partners to confirm their ongoing support for the SRA and the Eureka Garages & Sheds Series in 2021-2022.

With many of the major Blue-Ribbon events booked in for the new season, such as the Max Race, World Series Competition, Presidents Cup, King Challenge and the return of the Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic just to mention a few and the anticipation that all State and Territory boarders will be open these events will once again attract the best of the best competitors.

This season the SRA committee is also pleased to be able to announce a new Series, the C&H Trucking Sprintcars Limited Series. This Series is open only for SCCA registered Sprintcars that are powered by the SCCA 360ci spec engine and the LS1, LS2 and LS3 engine. (The LS3 is better known as the CT525 Create engine) At this point in time the Series is scheduled to be conducted over seven rounds that will also include the A Plus Powder Coating Triple Crown Series rounds.

As the intent of the Series is to a create budget level into Sprintcar Racing it has been very well received by many competitors and existing teams as well as the venue operators. The SRA has already been approached by potential sponsors whishing to be a part of the Series and to complement both C&H Trucking and A Plus Powder Coating. More info and the Series criteria will be released in the near future.

The driver’s criteria’s and nomination forms for the Eureka Garage & Sheds Sprintcar Series, the C&H Trucking Sprintcars Limited Series and other events on the 2021-2022 racing calendar will be released as soon as possible, subject to the Government rulings to allow the venue operators to open their venues.

The scheduled Sprintcar events in and around Victoria can be seen on the SRA web site www.sravic.com

As stated earlier the SRA of Vic Inc and our season partners are heading into the 2021-2022 with positive attitude that we will get the season under sooner than later!

The Sprintcar Racing Association of Victoria thank all our past and present partners for all their support from the last two seasons and look forward to continuing the relationship into the new season:
