• Lucas Roberts is looking to create history this Saturday night, in the Victorian Super Sedan Title, to be held at The Edge Hotel Motel Timmis Speedway Mildura. Should Roberts successfully defend his title he will win his sixth State Title and equal that of Peter Logue, who won six titles in eight years between 1995 and 2002.

Australian Champion, Steve Jordan is also in the field along with newly crowned Carline Mufflers National Super Sedan Series Champion Brad Smith, plus Darren Kane who finished third in the series.
Three times Australian Champion Mick Nicola, is one of three Nicola's in the event, which also sees a strong contingent from South Australia, which seven drivers entering as part of the thirty entries, including Dave Gartner, Bill Miller, Shane Best and Dan Miller.

Adding to what is set to be an awesome nights racing will be the ‘Bass Highway Waste’ Victorian Modified Production Sedan Association series continues with the third race meeting of the season this time at Mildura’s ‘Edge Hotel Motel Timmis Speedway’.

Fresh off the back of the Victorian Championship last weekend the top three placing from that event are all nominated as entrants in this round taking advantage of a opportunity to race Mildura just prior to the national championship at the same venue at Easter. Mark Carlin, Wayne Ramsdale and Western Australian Mick Johnson were the top three last weekends and all will be amongst the thick of the action at Mildura.

Locally the Mildura drivers will once again be difficult to top at home with Martin Hawson, David Smith and Peter McCarthy in the fray along with South Australian state champion Jeremy McClure, Ang Halacas, Mat McClure and Michael Solomon.

Brendan Higgs and Mark Symonds come across from South Australia with veterans Russell Bent, Greg Atkins, Graham West & Johnny Benson all part of the action.

Rounding out the field is Ty Galley who is right up at the top of the points table and won’t have Justin Drew & Brody Chrystie to contend with who due to damage at last weekend’s event won’t be a part of the action and also Russell Felsovary & Brenton Mills.

One thing for sure is that anything can happen in Modified Sedan racing and if we go with the trend at Mildura the fast racers will be up running alongside the concrete this weekend for some super fast action.

The VMPA are looking forward to being on the same program as the Super Sedans with a stellar field of entrants from up and down the coast.
