• The 2017 Lucas Oil Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic may only be days away, however the car count continues to spike with entry today being confirmed for 1993 Champion and six-time Australian Champion Garry Brazier.

Whilst most the 2016-17 racing season has seen Garry tutoring son Jordyn as he continues to make steady progress in his own racing career, the Classic will again see the return of Brazier to Warrnambool, a venue that has been the scene for some of his most notable performances.

Having finished 22nd in the 2016 Lucas Oil Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic A-Main, Brazier will again make the familiar trip to Warrnambool with father Steve and Mum Kaye for his band of supporters including Castrol Edge, Cobra Skip Bins, Blackshaws, PWR Radiators, Racing Optics, GME Steering, Vortex Wings, Scott’s of Mt. Gambier and Weld Wheels.

No matter where your allegiances lie, it is fair to say that Garry Brazier is a polarizing character and is arguably one of Australia’s most talented as he showed simply in carving his way into the 40-lap feature just on 12 months ago.

Will the Classic see the Brazier of old or will it be merely an exotic test and tune for a tilt at a coveted seventh National Title? There is truly only one way to find out and that is to be at Sungold Stadium, Premier Speedway, Warrnambool this Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the 45th Lucas Oil Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic.

All pre-purchased ticket holders are reminded that they need to print their allotted tickets out and bring them to the venue for admission on race nights. For those still with tickets sitting idle in their in-boxes now is the time to open those files and be ready to witness another huge Classic field all vie for the right to be crowned Classic Champion!

For those travelling to Warrnambool the following is a proposed list of events that will be run throughout the weekend.
