“South West Conveyancing, as outlined below, specialise is all forms of conveyancing property transactions.

“All we ask that no matter where you are located, if you are buying or selling property of any description that you give Tania and Alistair at South West Conveyancing a try, those that have already have been very impressed with the level of attention to detail and professionalism, that is all a part of the friendly service at South West Conveyancing, they really do make it very easy,” Mills concluded.

    About South West Conveyancing:

South West Conveyancing was founded in Warrnambool in early 2012 by Tania Jasper, a Licensed Conveyancer and Legal Executive, who had previously had nearly 25 years-experience with South West law firms and wanted to offer local property buyers and sellers an affordable alternative to the traditional legal firm in undertaking conveyancing property transactions.

From modest beginnings in a small office with Tania working alone, the firm has grown to now employ 11 staff across three offices located in Warrnambool, Portland and Melbourne CBD. Over the past 6 years almost 7,000 conveyancing transactions have been undertaken, and in 2017 alone more than 1,500 clients trusted South West Conveyancing to guide them through the process of buying, selling, transferring or subdividing their property.

Over the last two years, transfer of property has taken small but steady steps into the digital era, with the implementation of the PEXA (Property Exchange Australia) platform, a gateway between conveyancing practitioners, financial institutions and the Land Registries in Victoria, New South Wales, Western Australia and Queensland, enabling financial settlement and digital transfer of property to be completed in real time. What this means for property buyers is almost instant registration of Land Registry documents to transfer of the property Title to the buyer, and for sellers’ access to sale proceeds within an hour of the appointed settlement time.

South West Conveyancing embraced this digital revolution in its very early stages, lodging their first electronic Caveat in October 2014 and completing their first electronic settlement in February 2016, and is now undertaking more than 40% of total monthly settlements in the online space. Of a total of 5443 practitioners registered to use PEXA Australia wide, South West Conveyancing ranked at No 2 in terms of volume of electronic settlements in 2017, and No 1 for the State of Victoria.

The Victorian Registrar of Titles has set the timeframe for transition towards 100% digital lodgement of Land Registry instruments, and from 1 October 2018 all eligible conveyancing transactions must be completed electronically. Having been actively using the PEXA system for more than two? years South West Conveyancing is not intimidated by this deadline, although it may loom large to many other firms.

South West Conveyancing has won Professional Service awards on 3 occasions as well the Australian Institute of Conveyancers (Vic Division) Regional Conveyancing firm Award in 2013.

Most recently Alistair collected the Victorian Regional Conveyancing Employee of the Year, resulting in Alistair and Tania being the first husband and wife combination to secure industry awards of this type!

South West Conveyancing can look after any conveyancing requirements anywhere in Victoria.

South West Conveyancing can be found at 92C Liebig Street, Warrnambool and can be contacted directly on (03) 5561 7223.
