• Today is the official closing date for nominations for the 2023 Australian Prosprints Championship at the Murray Machining and Sheds Murray Bridge Speedway. The Nomination fee is $240 with an additional fee of $100 to all Late Nominations that are received after the cut-off date.

    The event is open to all Australian Residents/Citizens who hold a current SCCA Inc. drivers’ licence and they must have competed in a minimum of five SCCA 410ci or ProSprints (360) Sprintcar events in the 12 months prior, with a minimum of three meetings in the current season.

    A total of $27,050 will be paid out over the weekend with the winner of the 2023 Australian Prosprint Championship receiving $7,500. $2,000 will go to the winner of the Preliminary A-Main on Friday night.

    Therefore, the payout on Friday night will be: 1ST 1,500+500 2ND 1,250+400 3rd 1,000+300 4th 750+230 5th 500+215 6th 200 7th 175 8th 150 9th 125 10th 100 11th 80 12th 60 13th 60 14th 55 15th 50 16th 50 17th 50 18th 50– Total $7,850.

    Saturday Night Final: 1ST 7,500 2ND 4,500 3rd 3,000 4th 1,350 5th 1,100 6th 850 7th 700 8th 600 9th 500 10th 450 11th 425 12th 425 13th 300 14th 300 15th 200 16th 200 17th 150 18th 150 19th 150 20th 150 - Total 23,000.

    A further $1,200 will be paid out to the B-Main competitors from positions 5-18 who fail to transfer into the Championship A-Main.

    A total of $27,050 will be paid out over the weekend.

    Also, a total of up to $2,750 tow money is available for distribution to eligible cars plus $500 for the defending champion if competing, this value is based on a minimum of 20 cars. If the limit is exceeded by using the 50 cents per kilometre one way recommended formulae; all eligible interstate cars will be paid the same pro-rata cents per kilometre rate. There will be no travel money paid to cars nominating after (Today) Sunday 5th March 2023.

    The 2023 Australian Prosprints Championship will be staged at the Murray Machining and Sheds Murray Bridge Speedway between March 22-25, 2023, with the Rain out date being Sunday March 26.
